over the past few weeks owen has begun to give us kisses.
i think it's one of my favorite things he's done so far...
most of the time when we purse our lips and make an "mmmmm" kissy sound at owen, he'll purse his lips in response, make the mmmm sound right back and give us a little kiss on the lips.
it really makes my heart melt and i hope he doesn't grow out of it too soon!
on an unrelated note, we've switched pediatricians, and i love her!
i think she's better for us as a family and for owen.. not necessarily better as far as medical treatment goes(though i think she'll be great in this regard as well),
but better than our old pediatrician when it comes to "bedside manner"/interaction/personality.
besides, i just like her as a person.
on her way out of the room at the end of the appointment, she said,
"you know what i think? i think if we'd met in college we would have been friends." ... and i totally agree.
after meeting with her the first time to see if it seemed like a good fit,
we had owen's official first visit last week.
at one week shy of 14 months, owen is 30 inches tall and 19 pounds.
light as a feather but strong and healthy :)
